Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Inspects Key Infrastructure and Welfare Initiatives at Colaba Military Station

Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, holding the titles of PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, visited the Headquarters of the Maharashtra, Gujarat & Goa Area to assess significant infrastructure projects intended to enhance the living conditions and welfare of troops within the Southern Command.

During his visit, the Army Commander evaluated the refurbished Albert Ekka Barrack, a transit facility meant for Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (ORs). He also examined the Married Accommodation Project (MAP) at Colaba Military Station, stressing the necessity for timely completion without sacrificing quality standards.

Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth also inspected the AMWP Special Repair accommodation project, where he acknowledged the efforts being made to enhance living infrastructure and improve housing facilities for Army personnel.

During the visit, the Southern Army Commander awarded on-the-spot commendations to four service personnel from the Indian Army and the Indian Navy, recognizing their exceptional service and dedication to their duties.

Lt Gen Seth praised all ranks for their professionalism and dedication, highlighting the critical role of cohesive command structures and robust support systems in maintaining the armed forces' operational effectiveness.

The visit underscored the Indian Army's ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure, welfare, and living conditions for its personnel while ensuring high standards of operational readiness are upheld.
