Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Evaluates Operational Preparedness of Agnibaaz Division
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, decorated with Param Vishisht Seva Medal, Uttam Yudh Seva Medal, and Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, and serving as the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Southern Command, conducted an inspection of the Agnibaaz Division. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the division's operational preparedness and its evolving combat capabilities.
During this inspection, Lt Gen Seth received an update on the division's advanced Imagery Interpretation, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems, along with its targeting architecture. These enhancements are designed to facilitate real-time intelligence integration, thereby significantly boosting situational awareness and decision-making efficiency on the battlefield.

The Army Commander also assessed the newly established units and recent procurement in the Regiment of Artillery. This assessment is part of the Indian Army’s strategic shift towards becoming a more agile, interconnected, and future-ready military force.
Lt Gen Seth praised the professionalism and dedicated service of all ranks, highlighting the vital role of technologically enabled readiness, enhanced situational awareness, and adaptable combat support systems.

He stressed that the integration of cutting-edge technologies and operations driven by intelligence will continue to be essential for achieving dominance on the battlefield in future engagements.
