Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth Assesses Operational Readiness and Welfare at Southern Command Stations
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army's Southern Command, conducted a visit to the Jassai and Jalipa Military Stations. His visit aimed to evaluate the operational preparedness, administrative standards, and current capability-development efforts at these stations.

While at the military stations, the Army Commander received briefings on several key projects. These projects are centered on enhancing training, improving infrastructure, integrating technology, and advancing welfare initiatives within units of the Konark Corps. He stressed the necessity of ongoing infrastructure developments to boost both living standards and operational effectiveness at the stations.

Additionally, Lt Gen Seth visited the ECHS Polyclinic located at Jalipa. During his time there, he engaged with the staff, veterans, and their family members. He assessed the accessibility of healthcare, the mechanisms of service delivery, and the welfare provisions at the station, underscoring the Army's dedication to the health and well-being of its personnel and their families.
