Lt Gen CG Muralidharan Evaluates Medical Readiness and Infrastructure in Black Cat Division
Lieutenant General CG Muralidharan, who serves as the Director General Medical Services (Army) and is also the Colonel Commandant of the Army Medical Corps, conducted a visit to the Black Cat Division's medical units on May 18, 2026. The purpose of his visit was to evaluate the operational medical preparedness and the healthcare infrastructure in the forward areas.
During this visit, the General Officer examined the ongoing development of medical infrastructure along the watershed regions that fall under the Division's jurisdiction.

Lt Gen Muralidharan also conducted assessments of the operational readiness, medical logistics, and combat healthcare support systems that are maintained in the challenging forward locations.

The DGMS Army praised the personnel for their professional skill, dedication, and unwavering commitment to providing effective combat medical support to troops stationed in operational areas.

This visit underscored the Indian Army and the Army Medical Corps' ongoing emphasis on enhancing medical readiness, healthcare infrastructure, and logistical support in strategically vital regions.
