Lt Gen AVS Rathee Evaluates Readiness of Bald Eagle Brigade in Strategically Sensitive Sector

Lieutenant General AVS Rathee, who commands the Konark Corps, conducted a thorough assessment of the Bald Eagle Brigade's operational readiness during his visit to the strategically significant Rann and Creek sector.
This visit emphasized the ongoing efforts by the Indian Army to boost preparedness in the challenging environment characterized by marshlands, tidal flats, and creeks near the India–Pakistan border. The unique nature of this terrain demands high adaptability, mobility, and cooperation among security forces.

During his visit, the Army Commander witnessed a major multi-agency exercise demonstrating the effective collaboration between the Indian Army, Indian Navy, Border Security Force (BSF), and Indian Coast Guard. The exercise included simulated operations designed to address various modern warfare scenarios, including cross-border infiltration, maritime security threats, and integrated coastal defense operations.
This exercise, by leveraging the strengths of multiple security agencies, emphasized the critical importance of cooperation, information exchange, and coordinated actions in addressing emerging threats.
