Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta Reviews Golden Key Division’s Combat Readiness, Drone Facility

Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Central Command, visited the Golden Key Division to review its combat readiness, operational preparedness and the ongoing work being done to absorb and integrate modern technology into its systems and routines.

The Army Commander’s visit centred on how the formation is converting technological capability into practical operational advantage. The review examined not only the division’s preparedness for assigned tasks, but also the extent to which new tools and processes are being built into both operational and support functions to sustain combat readiness.

A key stop during the review was the Command Drone Repair, Fabrication & Training Facility. The emphasis on drone repair and fabrication reflects the increasing need for units to sustain technology-enabled capabilities close to where they are used. Such in-house expertise can help formations address equipment-related requirements more quickly while also improving the technical proficiency of personnel.
