Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar Assesses Spear Corps' Operational Preparedness in Arunachal Pradesh
Lieutenant General Abhijit S Pendharkar, the General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, conducted a thorough evaluation of the operational readiness in the forward areas managed by the Corps in Arunachal Pradesh.
During his visit, the Corps Commander assessed the preparedness of key formations and confirmed the operational stance in the challenging terrain and conditions of the region. He also reviewed the preparations for the International Military Adventure Challenge Cup (IMACC), an event designed to enhance military adventure, endurance, and inter-service camaraderie.
Lt Gen Pendharkar praised the development of the Adventure Village, highlighting its modern accommodation and centrally located adventure facilities. These developments are anticipated to greatly improve training and hosting abilities for military activities centered on adventure.
Additionally, the GOC recognized the exceptional performance of all ranks within the Spear Head Division in the Drone Lab Competition. He noted their technological skills, innovation, and the effective integration of unmanned systems into their operational strategies.
The visit highlighted the Spear Corps' ongoing commitment to maintaining high levels of operational readiness, adapting to new technologies, and achieving overall excellence in both combat preparedness and professional growth.
