Lieutenant Bhunesh Dagar Honored with Silver Gun Trophy as Young Officers Course Concludes at Army Air Defence College

A comprehensive 24-week training program for Young Officers (YO) of the Army Air Defence (AAD) concluded on October 7, 2025, at the esteemed Army Air Defence College (AADC) in Gopalpur. This rigorous course was specifically designed to provide officers with extensive tactical and technical knowledge concerning the latest air defence systems, including cutting-edge radars, guns, and missile platforms.
Throughout the training period, the officers were exposed to specialized instruction on disruptive and innovative technologies, preparing them to effectively address emerging aerial threats. The curriculum highlighted the importance of technology-driven strategies, combining technical expertise with tactical skills to ensure the nation's airspace remains secure from future challenges.

In recognition of exceptional performance during the course, Lt Bhunesh Dagar was honored with the Silver Gun Trophy, while Lt Jatin Kalia received the Commandant’s Trophy. These awards were presented by the Commandant during the course's closing ceremony, marking the successful conclusion of this demanding training program.
