Indian Army's Havildar Kuldeep Sacrifices Life in Siachen Avalanche

Havildar Kuldeep, a dedicated member of the Indian Army, has tragically lost his life while serving in the demanding conditions of the Siachen Glacier.

Originating from Baseli village in the Badhpur block of Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad district, the soldier sustained critical injuries during an avalanche while on duty in the hostile glacial region. Despite prompt rescue operations and medical intervention, he passed away at a military hospital.

Dedicated Soldier Since 2011

Kuldeep joined the Indian Army in 2011 after a recruitment drive in Fatehgarh. He served with the 872 Light Regiment Artillery, positioned in high-altitude zones.

Throughout his tenure, he was highly regarded among his colleagues for his discipline, devotion, and unwavering commitment to his country.

Family and Final Journey

The courageous soldier leaves behind:

Mother: Genda Devi
Wife: Priyanka Yadav
Children: Daughter Mannat (10) and son Ram (8)

His remains are anticipated to arrive in his hometown of Farrukhabad, where he will receive a funeral with full military honours, as the country acknowledges his bravery and sacrifice.
