Indian Army's Fire & Fury Corps Hosts High-Altitude Drone Yodha Competition in Ladakh

The Fire & Fury Corps has recently organized the ‘Drone Yodha Competition’ in Ladakh, focusing on the Indian Army’s increasing interest in unmanned aerial systems and modern warfare technologies, under conditions that simulate real operational environments at high altitudes.

Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, the General Officer Commanding of Fire & Fury Corps, attended the event and commended the participants for their outstanding skill and expertise in operating drones.

This competition was crafted to evaluate advanced drone technologies and tactical innovations, as participants showcased their abilities in surveillance, reconnaissance, and operational maneuvers in the challenging terrain of the mountains.

“The event reflects our commitment to leveraging emerging technologies for operational advantage in high-altitude and difficult terrains,” stated Lt Gen Bhalla.

The competition highlights the Army’s continuous focus on modernization, innovation, and readiness, especially in areas that feature complex terrains and are of significant strategic importance.
