Indian Army Religious Teachers Graduate in Passing Out Parade at National Integration Institute
The Recruit Religious Teachers Course concluded with a Passing Out Parade on January 10, 2026, at the Institute of National Integration (INI). This event marked the end of an 11-week intensive training program.

A total of 63 Religious Teachers completed the course, which prepared them for essential roles within the Indian Army. Their training extended beyond religious and spiritual duties, including lessons in psychological counselling, stress management, and yoga. These skills are vital to addressing the mental well-being of soldiers across various operational settings.

The curriculum highlighted the distinct responsibilities of Religious Teachers as sources of moral strength, cohesion, and emotional support within their units. They are charged with promoting unity, resilience, and ethical behavior among troops from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.
The graduating Religious Teachers were hailed as ambassadors of national integration and religious harmony, embodying the Army's ongoing dedication to unity in diversity.
