Sikar, Rajasthan, October 23, 2026: The Indian Army’s Agniveer Recruitment Rally in Sikar drew an attendance of more than 90%, reflecting strong interest among Rajasthan’s youth in joining the Armed Forces through the Agniveer scheme. The rally was conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jaipur.
A large number of young aspirants turned up for the recruitment exercise, seeking an opportunity to serve in the Indian Army. According to the Army, the high participation rate reflected the determination, dedication and patriotic spirit of the candidates who came forward to take part in the selection process.
The Army said the recruitment activities were conducted in a fair, transparent and systematic manner, with equal opportunity ensured for all eligible candidates. Stringent anti-touting measures were also put in place throughout the rally to prevent fraudulent practices and protect the integrity of the process.
These measures were intended to ensure that the selection process remained free from interference by unauthorised individuals or middlemen, and that candidates were assessed strictly through established recruitment procedures.
Participating candidates appreciated the smooth organisation of the rally, including the administrative arrangements and the orderly conduct of the recruitment stages. The coordinated setup helped candidates move through the various phases of the process while discipline and transparency were maintained.

The Agniveer recruitment initiative, launched under the Agnipath scheme, offers eligible young Indians the chance to serve in the Armed Forces for four years. Under the scheme, up to 25% of each batch may be retained in regular service, depending on organisational requirements and the prescribed selection criteria.
Recruitment rallies such as the one held in Sikar are important in identifying motivated and physically capable young candidates for military service. The turnout at the Sikar event pointed to continuing enthusiasm among Rajasthan’s youth for a career in the Armed Forces.

Rajasthan has long contributed personnel to the Indian Armed Forces, and the strong response at the Sikar rally reflects the continuing interest of the state’s youth in military careers. The successful conduct of the rally under Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Jaipur, also highlighted the Army’s focus on transparency, efficiency and fairness in recruitment.
