The Indian Army has announced the examination timeline for the Agniveer Common Entrance Exam (CEE) 2025, part of the Agnipath recruitment initiative. The examination will be conducted online from June 30 to July 10, 2025, in several shifts, covering various entry categories such as Agniveer General Duty, Tradesman, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper, Women Military Police, and Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) positions.

Admit cards for the exams will be made available 14 days prior to each category's respective exam date. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official site and adhere to the instructions provided for reporting to the examination centers.

Admit Card Release Timeline

Exam Pattern

The Common Entrance Exam will be computer-based and consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). It will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and conducted in secure exam centers across India.

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Normalization: Scores will be normalized to adjust for difficulty level variations across sessions.

Selection Process

The Agniveer recruitment involves four stages:

  • Computer-Based Test (CEE)
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  • Medical Examination

The Common Entrance Exam will be a computer-based test featuring multiple-choice questions. The exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English and will take place at secure testing centers nationwide.

The Agniveer recruitment process comprises four key stages: the Computer-Based Test (CEE), a Physical Fitness Test (PFT), a Physical Measurement Test (PMT), and a Medical Examination.

Recruits under this scheme will begin with an in-hand salary of Rs 21,000 per month in the first year, which will see incremental increases each subsequent year. After completing four years, Agniveers will receive a Seva Nidhi package totaling Rs 10.04 lakh. Up to 25% of Agniveers may be retained for permanent positions, based on merit and organizational needs.
