India Field Hospital in Congo Honored with UN Force Commander's Unit Citation for Outstanding Peacekeeping Efforts
The India Field Hospital Level-II Plus stationed in Goma as part of the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) has received the esteemed Force Commander’s Unit Citation. This award acknowledges its outstanding contributions to UN peacekeeping missions.
The citation was awarded by Brigadier TKS Sekhon, Commander of the Central Sector and National Senior & Acting Deputy Force Commander, during an official ceremony on April 8, 2026.
