Impostor in Air Force Attire Detained at Hyderabad Military Canteen
A man pretending to be a member of the Indian Air Force was detained at a military canteen in Hyderabad on Friday after his suspicious activities drew the attention of security personnel.
The incident took place on the premises of a military college in Trimulgherry. The man gained entry into the canteen wearing an Air Force T-shirt, which initially prevented him from being stopped at the gate. However, his behavior inside, including taking photographs and videos, prompted the security staff to question his credentials.
Upon verification, it was revealed that the individual had no legitimate ties to the Indian Air Force. He was subsequently detained and turned over to the Trimulgherry police for further investigation.
Initial investigations indicate that the man had offered job opportunities to two young women at the canteen, which is situated within a restricted military area.
