Golden Key Division Showcases Exceptional Precision in Annual Field Firing Exercise
The Golden Key Gunners of the Golden Key Division demonstrated exceptional precision and professionalism during a recent Field Firing Exercise conducted as part of their Annual Practice Camp, aligning with the age-old saying, “Shastrastrairvina naiva vijayah sambhavah” (Without weapons and artillery, victory is not possible).

During the exercise, the powerful roar of artillery was a testament to the unit’s operational proficiency and readiness for combat, as targets were hit with impressive accuracy. This drill effectively showcased the integration of modern artillery platforms with advanced equipment under realistic conditions.
A significant feature of the exercise was the implementation of sensor-to-shooter linkages, using mini Remotely Piloted Aircraft systems, sophisticated surveillance networks, and state-of-the-art target acquisition technologies. These advancements significantly boosted the responsiveness, situational awareness, and effectiveness of strikes.

The camp was overseen by Brigadier RK Singh, Commander of the Golden Key Gunners Brigade, who praised the gunners for upholding high standards in training, technical skills, and readiness for combat.
This exercise highlighted the unwavering spirit of the Gunners and reinforced their enduring ethos and rallying cry — Har Maidan Fateh, Victory in Every Battlefield.
