Goa Shipyard Delivers ICGS Amulya, Enhancing Indian Coast Guard's Maritime Security Fleet

Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) has officially transferred the ICGS Amulya, the third Fast Patrol Vessel (FPV) among a planned eight, as part of the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. This development signifies a noteworthy advancement in India's domestic maritime security framework.

The handover event took place at GSL's Vasco shipyard, where it was graced by senior personnel, including GSL CMD Brajesh Kumar Upadhyay, Director (Operations) Rear Admiral Nelson D’Souza (Retd), Director (Finance) Jahangeer Alam Ansari, along with senior officers of the Indian Coast Guard. Commanding Officer Comdt (JG) Anupam Singh accepted the vessel on behalf of the Coast Guard.
