General Upendra Dwivedi Reviews Defense Tech Advances at MCTE
General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff, made a visit to the Military College of Telecommunications and Engineering (MCTE) to evaluate significant strides in defense technology and data-centric warfare initiatives within the Indian Army.
While there, the Army Chief inspected the NFS Advanced Training Centre, a nationwide tri-services establishment. This facility offers advanced, curriculum-based training that aligns with the strategic objectives of Multi-Domain Operations and Network-Centric Warfare. The training program also supports the Indian Army's Year of Networking and Data Centricity initiative.

General Dwivedi also explored the Drone Training Node, where demonstrations presented the application of field-deployable artificial intelligence and drone technology. These innovations are aiding the Army in its shift from voice-centric to data-centric operational systems, embodied in the "Eagle on the Arm" vision.
The Chief of Army Staff praised the officers, instructors, and staff at the institute for their crucial role in preparing agile, technologically skilled, and future-ready soldiers equipped to operate effectively in dynamic battlefield conditions.
