The veterans who received the honors included Brigadier RS Grewal (Retd), Colonel Chander Prakash Vij (Retd), Colonel Jasdeep Sandhu (Retd), Subedar Major (Honorary Captain) Ranjodh Singh (Retd), Captain Parminder Singh (Retd), and Sergeant Sanjeev Kumar Goel (Retd).
