General Upendra Dwivedi Explores Military Education and Cooperation at Australian Defence College
General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of the Army Staff, made a visit to the Australian Defence College as part of his official engagements in Australia. This visit highlights the strengthening of defence and professional military education relations between India and Australia.

During his visit, General Dwivedi met with Major General Martin White, Commander of the Australian Defence College, and Brigadier Lara Troy, Commandant of the Australian War College. The discussions centered on enhancing institutional cooperation, professional military education, and exchanging views on contemporary security issues.

General Dwivedi also delivered an address to the faculty and student officers at the Australian Command and Staff College (ACSC). He discussed modern leadership, emerging strategic trends, and the changing role of the armed forces in today's complex security landscape.
In his remarks, General Dwivedi stressed the significance of joint operations, adaptability, and lifelong learning. He highlighted professional military education as crucial for developing military leaders who are prepared for future challenges and can operate effectively in diverse environments to address global security concerns.
