General Upendra Dwivedi Evaluates Bison Division's Operational Preparedness and Modernisation Efforts
General Upendra Dwivedi, the Chief of Army Staff, recently visited the Bison Division to evaluate its operational readiness and training standards.
During his visit, General Dwivedi received briefings on the division's primary training initiatives, operational capabilities, and infrastructure advancements. There was significant focus on the implementation of artificial intelligence, digitisation, and contemporary technologies aimed at enhancing the combat readiness and future warfighting capabilities of the Indian Army.

General Dwivedi presented COAS Commendation Cards to selected personnel, acknowledging their extraordinary dedication, professionalism, and exceptional service. He commended the troops for their high standards of operational efficiency and encouraged all ranks to maintain excellence in all areas of their duties.

In addition to his review of the division, the Army Chief engaged with veterans in the area, acknowledging their ongoing contributions to society and their role in enhancing the Indian Army's reputation. He expressed appreciation for their efforts in nation-building and their strong connection with the military community.
The visit underscored the Indian Army's commitment to modernisation, the integration of technology, and sustained operational readiness, while also highlighting the significant contributions of both active personnel and veterans.
