General Anil Chauhan Inaugurates Shaurya Cultural Centre in Uttarakhand's Mana Village

General Anil Chauhan, the Chief of Defence Staff, has initiated the foundation for the Shaurya Cultural & Traditional Centre in Mana, widely recognized as the "First Village of India," situated in Uttarakhand.

The Shaurya Cultural & Traditional Centre is designed to safeguard and promote the rich cultural heritage native to Garhwal, highlighting its remarkable martial traditions and spiritual history.

This project embodies a wider ambition to honor the region’s significant contributions to India's defense forces and its deep cultural essence.

Carried out in partnership with the Government of Uttarakhand, the project seeks to amalgamate culture, tourism, and a sense of national pride, ensuring a comprehensive development approach.

Positioned in the heart of Devbhoomi, the Centre is intended as a beacon of heritage revival and national unity. It aims to draw visitors, engage the youth, and showcase the historical and strategic importance of the region.

The initiative is a testament to the Indian Armed Forces’ dedication not only to national security but also to maintaining cultural heritage and honoring the valorous communities.
