DG SSB Sanjay Singhal Inspects Indo-Nepal Border Operations for Enhanced Security

Director General of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Shri Sanjay Singhal, IPS, recently conducted an inspection of the Border Outposts (BOPs) associated with the 3rd Battalion stationed along the Indo-Nepal border.

During this visit, he evaluated the operational readiness and security measures implemented by the troops positioned at this sensitive boundary. Shri Singhal engaged with the personnel on-site to assess their preparedness, commending their commitment to securing the nation's borders.

He further encouraged the troops, recognizing their relentless efforts to maintain vigilance around the clock in the face of difficult conditions. Shri Singhal emphasized the vital role of the SSB in not only ensuring border security but also promoting harmony and collaboration with the communities along the border.

Tasked with safeguarding the 1,751 km stretch of the Indo-Nepal border, the SSB operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs. Regular inspections and interactions led by senior officials aim to enhance the morale of the force, ensure operational efficiency, and reinforce its dedication to national security.
