Delegation from 8th Central Pay Commission Engages with National Defence Academy for In-Depth Training Insights
A delegation comprising seven members from the 8th Central Pay Commission, under the leadership of Justice (Retd) Ranjana Prakash Desai, visited the National Defence Academy (NDA) on May 5, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to gain a deeper understanding of the academy's demanding training environment.

The delegation received detailed briefings on NDA’s comprehensive training curriculum. The program is structured to integrate rigorous physical fitness, strong mental endurance, and a significant focus on intellectual growth, aiming to develop well-rounded future leaders for the armed forces.

Justice Desai engaged in discussions with cadets, including female cadets, addressing topics such as equal opportunities and gender equality in the armed forces. She urged them to maintain high standards of excellence, discipline, and commitment during their training and in their forthcoming military careers.

The visit offered the Commission significant insights into the specific challenges and standards of military training, which are crucial for understanding the service conditions and needs of defence personnel.
