CRPF Constable Ranjit Das Allegedly Dies by Suicide at Ganderbal Camp
Srinagar, October 18: A Central Reserve Police Force constable allegedly died by suicide inside a camp in the Manasbal area of Ganderbal district in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
The constable has been identified as Ranjit Das, a resident of Hajo Tehsil in Assam’s Kamrup district. According to officials, he allegedly used a nylon rope to hang himself within the CRPF camp at Manasbal.
His body was sent for medico-legal formalities after the incident. Officials said the reason behind the alleged suicide was not immediately known.
