He secured the highest position with a CGPA of 8.18 in Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering.

CQMS Nithin's exceptional academic performance earned him the Commandant’s Silver Medal and the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CISC) Trophy. These prestigious awards were conferred during the convocation ceremony held on May 29 at Khadakwasla, with Dr. Kiran Bedi, IPS (Retd.) and former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry, as the Chief Guest.

Originating from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Nithin comes from a modest family background. His father is employed as a supervisor in a private company, while his mother manages the household. He completed his education from Class VI to XII at Sainik School Korukonda, where he topped his class in the XII examinations with an impressive 97% score.

Nithin is widely recognized for his consistent academic excellence throughout his tenure at the NDA, earning the respect of both faculty and peers for his unwavering dedication and discipline.

Upon receiving the award, Nithin expressed that this recognition was among the most cherished moments of his life.

“I have been allotted the Navy service at NDA. The officers and teachers at school have always been my inspiration. I feel very proud of getting the trophy and award from Dr Kiran Bedi. It is a moment that I will remember throughout my life,” he stated.

Nithin credited his achievement to the mentorship and guidance of his teachers and officers at Sainik School Korukonda, who motivated him to aim for excellence and pursue a career in the Armed Forces.

Now positioned within the Indian Navy, Nithin is set to advance in his journey towards becoming a naval officer. His success underscores the NDA’s ongoing commitment to nurturing academically accomplished, technologically savvy, and professionally skilled military leaders.

The convocation ceremony celebrated a significant milestone for the NDA’s 150th Course graduates, with 236 cadets receiving degrees from Jawaharlal Nehru University, paving the way for their commissioning into the Armed Forces.
