Completion of 'Yodha Rakshak' Combat Casualty Care Training Capsule at AMC Centre and College
The one-day "Train the Trainers" session for the Yodha Rakshak Combat Casualty Care programme successfully concluded on May 18, 2026, at the Officers Training College within the AMC Centre and College.
A total of 74 officers from MOJCC 203, representing the Tri-Services, took part in this rigorous training, focusing on battlefield trauma care, tactical casualty evacuation, and essential lifesaving measures under realistic combat scenarios.

The training aimed to boost operational preparedness by equipping trainers with advanced medical response skills specific to combat, which can be further taught to non-medical combat personnel on the front lines.
Participants engaged in practical and scenario-focused exercises designed to enhance rapid medical responses during battlefield emergencies and improve survival rates in combat situations.

The event underscored the Indian Armed Forces' increasing focus on combat casualty care, integrated operational readiness, and specialised lifesaving training for troops in challenging operational environments.

Officials indicated that this initiative is expected to enhance the ability of trainers to equip non-medical combatants with crucial battlefield lifesaving skills, ultimately aiding in saving more lives during military operations.
