Company Commanders’ Course at ASC Centre & College Concludes; Lt Col Upender Honored as Best Student
The Company Commanders’ Course at the ASC Centre & College in Bengaluru concluded on May 7, 2026, marking the end of a significant professional training program for logistics officers in the Indian Army.
This course not only included officers from the Indian Army but also welcomed participants from friendly nations such as Nepal and Sri Lanka, showcasing a strong military partnership and the exchange of best practices.

The valedictory address was delivered by Lieutenant General J K Gera, Commandant of the ASC Centre & College. He urged the officers to become leaders in logistics excellence within their formations and stressed the importance of preparing for next-generation warfare influenced by rapid technological changes.

Lt Col Upender was named the Best Student Officer for his exceptional achievements during the program. Major Arya Rawal from the Nepal Army was recognized as the Best Foreign Officer, highlighting the accomplishments of international attendees.

The course emphasized the critical role of effective logistics and supply chain management in modern military operations, highlighting the Indian Army's dedication to developing leaders who are ready for the challenges of technologically advanced battlefield environments.
