Commissioning of 40 Nursing Cadets into Military Nursing Service in Bengaluru
On May 8, 2026, a ceremonial Passing Out Parade at the Medical Training Centre in Bengaluru saw forty nursing cadets from the College of Nursing Command Hospital Air Force Bangalore officially join the Military Nursing Service.
Air Vice Marshal Naresh Saidha, the Commandant of Command Hospital Air Force (CHAF) in Bengaluru, conducted a review of the parade. He offered his congratulations to the newly appointed officers and expressed gratitude to their families for their unwavering support.

As part of the ceremony, the cadets pledged an oath to serve the nation with dedication, both in times of war and peace. The Reviewing Officer reminded them of the importance of maintaining the highest levels of professionalism, compassion, and discipline in their roles within the Military Nursing Service.

Recognition for academic excellence was also part of the event, with awards presented to the cadets who demonstrated exceptional dedication during their training period.

The parade signified the cadets' transition into proficient and confident nursing officers ready to contribute to India's tri-service medical system. It underscored the Armed Forces' commitment to developing a competent and compassionate healthcare workforce to support both operational and humanitarian efforts.
