Combat Leadership Course Concludes at NCO Academy, Dhana; Naik Abhishek Dev Recognized as Top Student
The Combat Leadership Course at the NCO Academy in Dhana concluded on February 7, 2026, marking a significant achievement for the participating Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Indian Army who completed the demanding training program.
This course was delivered through a modern and specialized curriculum, crafted to equip NCOs with the necessary skills for leadership in a technology-driven battlefield. The training emphasized operational expertise in areas such as counter-drone strategies, contemporary combat leadership, and the adaptive decision-making critical for future warfare scenarios.

During an address to the course participants, Brigadier Lalit Sharma, who holds the Shaurya Chakra and Sena Medal, and serves as the Commandant of the NCO Academy, offered insights on the Indian Army’s ongoing Decade of Transformation. He discussed the implications of regional unrest on India's security and stressed the important role junior leaders play in implementing strategic visions effectively on the ground.
Upon completion of the course, Naik Abhishek Dev from the Rajput Regiment was named the Overall Best Student, highlighting his exemplary performance, leadership abilities, and professional skills throughout the training period.
