COAS Commends NCC Cadets and Officers for Exemplary Service at Republic Day Camp 2026
During a recent visit, the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) engaged with cadets of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), praising their enthusiasm, discipline, and dedication to service. This interaction highlighted the deep connection between the Indian Army and the NCC, aimed at cultivating youth who are responsible, motivated, and oriented towards national service.
At the end of his visit, the COAS documented his thoughts in the Visitors’ Book, commending the cadets for their exemplary discipline, conduct, and appearance. He acknowledged the NCC's significant role in nation-building, leadership development, and the instillation of essential values such as integrity, unity, and service among the youth of India.

In recognition of outstanding dedication and service, the COAS awarded on-the-spot Commendation Cards to several individuals:
