CISF Promotes Personnel Nationwide to Higher Ranks for Dedicated Service

Personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) across the country have been elevated to higher ranks, with the force recognising years of disciplined service and professional commitment through a fresh round of promotions.

Under the promotion exercise, Constables (General Duty) have moved up to the rank of Head Constable (General Duty), while Head Constables (General Duty) have been promoted to Assistant Sub-Inspector (Executive). The changes were reflected across multiple CISF formations nationwide, where personnel wore the insignia of their new ranks as they stepped into greater responsibilities within the organisation.

The promotions come as part of the force’s recognition of the role its personnel play in guarding some of India’s most sensitive and critical infrastructure and establishments. For CISF members, advancement in rank is tied not only to seniority and service, but also to an expanded leadership role and a higher level of accountability in daily operations.

The Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force congratulated all promoted personnel and their families, extending wishes for continued success in their careers.
