CISF Bids Farewell to ADG Sudhir Kumar and IG Nilima Rani Singh on Superannuation
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has formally bid farewell to Shri Sudhir Kumar, Additional Director General (North), and Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, Inspector General (CS), as both officers retired from service in a felicitation ceremony held at the CISF Force Headquarters in New Delhi.
The event was organised to recognise the two senior officers for their long years of service, leadership and contribution to the Force’s operational and administrative work. Their superannuation brought to a close careers marked by professional commitment and responsibility at senior levels within one of India’s key internal security organisations.
The CISF, which is tasked with securing vital installations and critical infrastructure across the country, said both officers had contributed to the strengthening and functioning of the Force during their tenures in senior leadership roles. Their departure was marked with the kind of formal recognition the organisation reserves for personnel who have completed careers of dedicated service.
Colleagues and members of the Force used the occasion to acknowledge the leadership, guidance and institutional knowledge both officers brought to their assignments. The ceremony reflected the CISF’s tradition of honouring officers and personnel who have played a role in supporting the organisation’s mandate over the years.
Shri Sudhir Kumar, who served as ADG/North, was recognised for his contribution to the Force in a senior command and leadership role. His service was described as reflecting the discipline and professionalism expected of officers at the highest levels of the CISF.
Smt. Nilima Rani Singh, IG/CS, was similarly honoured for her dedicated service and for the responsibilities she carried in a senior leadership position. Her tenure was noted as part of the wider role played by experienced officers in guiding the organisation’s work.
The farewell also served as a reminder of the camaraderie and mutual respect that mark the life of the Force, with serving personnel coming together to salute the careers of two officers completing their service.
