CISF Assumes Security Responsibilities at Kartavya Bhawan, Enhancing Safety for Key Financial Hub

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has assumed responsibility for security at Kartavya Bhawan-1, a crucial government facility, following the Ministry of Finance's historic move from North Block to this new location.
The new building was inaugurated by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on October 2, 2025, marking a significant milestone in the nation's administrative framework. Kartavya Bhawan has now become the central hub for India's financial governance, hosting essential departments and decision-making units that play a pivotal role in shaping the country's economic policies.

The CISF has been formally inducted at CCS-01/Kartavya Bhawan-1 to maintain top-tier safety and uninterrupted operations. The induction ceremony saw the presence of Shri Vishnu Swaroop, DIG/CISF, CGBS, along with other senior officials and media personnel, highlighting the force's essential role in protecting strategic national institutions.

The CISF, known for its professionalism, discipline, and steadfast dedication, will ensure round-the-clock security at the new complex. This involves integrating advanced surveillance, access control systems, and layered security protocols. This deployment underscores the CISF's critical role in safeguarding the country's vital installations, from airports and metro networks to government buildings and sensitive economic centers, with unparalleled vigilance and operational expertise.
