Chetak Corps and Indian Army Conduct Inspirational Training Camps for NCC Cadets at Bikaner and Bathinda

An inspiring initiative aimed at promoting discipline, leadership, and patriotism among youth was recently organized by the Chetak Corps, in collaboration with the Ranbankura Division and Panchvinshti Brigade. These entities conducted special training and motivational camps for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at the military stations in Bikaner and Bathinda.
These camps saw participation from over 250 NCC cadets from various educational institutions, offering them a unique opportunity to experience the life, ethos, and operational readiness of the Indian Army. The aim was to provide practical exposure to military life and inspire cadets to consider a career in the armed forces.
A central feature of the event was a weapon display, where cadets were introduced to modern infantry weapons and equipment used by the Indian Army. Trained personnel detailed the functioning and tactical significance of each weapon system, sparking pride and curiosity among the young participants.

The cadets also experienced a guided tour of an infantry unit, allowing them to interact with officers and soldiers. They were educated on the unit’s history, operational roles, and the demanding training routines essential to preparing the nation's defenders. This visit provided the cadets with a firsthand understanding of the camaraderie, discipline, and determination fundamental to military life.

Beyond technical and tactical exposure, the camps featured a series of motivational talks and interactive sessions. Senior officers addressed the cadets, urging them to embrace the values of service, integrity, and excellence. Cultural programs and sports activities further enhanced the spirit of teamwork and mutual respect among the participants.
These efforts highlight the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders under the guiding principle of “Nation First, Always and Every Time.” The event successfully bridged the gap between the military and the youth, instilling in them pride in wearing the uniform and serving the nation.
