The successful candidates will be joining the following courses: the 161st (DE) Course at the Indian Military Academy, the Indian Naval Academy, and the No. 220 F(P) Course at the Air Force Academy.
The government has announced the vacancies for these institutions as follows: 100 positions at the Indian Military Academy, which includes 13 spots for NCC ‘C’ certificate holders of the Army Wing; 26 positions at the Indian Naval Academy, with allocations of 6 for NCC Naval Wing and 2 for Hydro; and 32 positions at the Air Force Academy, which includes 3 positions for NCC Air Wing candidates.
The selection process involved candidates qualifying in a written examination, with 2,666 candidates qualifying for the Indian Military Academy, 814 for the Indian Naval Academy, and 636 for the Air Force Academy. A final merit list was compiled following interviews by the Services Selection Board.
The Commission stated that the merit list does not include the outcomes of medical examinations. Additionally, verification of age and educational credentials by the Army, Naval, and Air Headquarters is ongoing, rendering the current candidature provisional.
Candidates need to submit their original certificates along with attested copies to the respective service headquarters based on their first preference. They must also inform about any change of address promptly.
The results can be accessed on the official UPSC website, and individual marks will be disclosed following the declaration of the final results for the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) course.
The announcement of CDS (II) 2025 results is a significant milestone for aspirants looking to become officers in the armed forces, with the final selection contingent upon medical fitness and document verification.
