BSF Celebrates Successful Completion of 2025 Mountaineering Expedition with Flag-In Ceremony

The Border Security Force (BSF) today celebrated the successful conclusion of the Advance High Altitude Alpine Training and Mountaineering Expedition–2025 with a grand flag-in ceremony at its New Delhi headquarters. During this challenging expedition, the team conquered four peaks, each over 6,000 meters high, in the regions of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh, demonstrating the steadfast determination and resilience of BSF personnel.

Director General of BSF, Shri Daljit Singh Chawdhary, attended the event and praised the mountaineering team for their remarkable bravery and steadfastness. The expedition notably included six women participants, reinforcing BSF's ongoing commitment to gender inclusivity in demanding operational and adventure-based activities.

While addressing the attendees, the DG highlighted the critical importance of maintaining physical fitness within the force. He encouraged greater involvement in sports and adventure pursuits, aiming to achieve further accolades for both the nation and the BSF.

In recognition of the team's accomplishments, the Director General announced a monetary reward of ₹5 lakh for the expedition's participants. He also promised the provision of cutting-edge equipment and advanced training facilities to support BSF athletes who excel in various sports.

The expedition serves as a testament to BSF's legacy of endurance, discipline, and excellence, motivating the force to explore new horizons in both physical fitness and professional capability.
