AUSTRAHIND 2025 Closing Ceremony Highlights Strengthened India-Australia Military Cooperation
The closing ceremony for Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025, a collaborative military exercise between the Indian and Australian armies, took place in Perth, Australia. This event marked the completion of the exercise, which was designed to improve interoperability, enhance joint operational capabilities, and strengthen defence ties between the two countries.

Major General Matt Burr, AM, Commander of the 2nd Australian Division, attended the ceremony alongside senior officers and dignitaries from both military forces. The event also saw participation from the Indian diaspora in Australia, contributing to a sense of cultural connection and shared pride.

Exercise AUSTRAHIND 2025 provided an opportunity for both military contingents to exchange tactical expertise, improve field coordination, and refine strategies in counter-insurgency and peacekeeping operations. This joint training effort helped to build a deeper mutual understanding, trust, and cooperation between the armies.
