Major General Inderjit Singh Bhinder, Inspector General, Assam Rifles (East), and Brigadier Anshuman Tripathi, Deputy Inspector General, Assam Rifles, met Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh in Imphal on August 23, 2026, for discussions centered on the state’s prevailing security situation.
