Assam Rifles Celebrates Graduation of Third Batch from Centre of Excellence in Mizoram
The Assam Rifles held a farewell ceremony on June 22, 2026, for the 3rd Batch (2025–26) of students from the Rifleman Bevela Lushai AC Centre of Excellence, located in Zokhawsang, Aizawl. This event marked the successful conclusion of another academic year aimed at nurturing talented young individuals from across Mizoram.
The ceremony acknowledged the achievements and dedication of the 30 departing students, which included 20 girls and 10 boys. These students hailed from various districts across the state, such as Aizawl, Serchhip, Lunglei, Hnahthial, Khawzawl, Champhai, Kolasib, Mamit, and Lawngtlai.
The Centre of Excellence, established to offer quality academic guidance and mentorship, has become a vital platform for empowering young aspirants, aiding them in pursuing higher education and professional careers.
From the graduating class, 24 students took the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) with the goal of entering the medical field, while six students attempted the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) to embark on careers in engineering and technology.
Assam Rifles officials, present at the ceremony, congratulated the students on their accomplishments and urged them to maintain focus on their goals while continuing to excel in their chosen paths.
The event underscored Assam Rifles' dedication to educational empowerment and youth development in the North-East region. Through initiatives like the Rifleman Bevela Lushai Centre of Excellence, Assam Rifles remains committed to supporting talented students by providing academic support, mentorship, and opportunities for professional advancement.
