Air Marshal S Shrinivas Oversees Training and Operational Preparedness at Bidar Air Force Station
Air Marshal S Shrinivas, serving as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, made an official visit to Air Force Station Bidar on February 12 and 13, 2026. He was in the company of Mrs. Sunita Shrinivas, the President of AFFWA (Regional). Upon their arrival, they were welcomed by Air Commodore Parag Lall, the Air Officer Commanding, who presented a ceremonial Guard of Honour.

Throughout his visit, Air Marshal Shrinivas conducted an in-depth evaluation of the station’s operations, focusing on flying, training, maintenance, and administrative activities. He reviewed essential facilities and examined the station's contributions to maintaining high standards in flying training and operational readiness within the Indian Air Force.

A significant event during his visit was a sortie undertaken in the Hawk Mk-132 aircraft, flying alongside the Suryakirans Aerobatic Team. Following this, he engaged with the Qualified Flying Instructors and trainee pilots from the Hawk Operational Training Squadrons, gaining valuable insights into the current training practices and pilot development processes.

In a speech to the station’s personnel, the AOC-in-C emphasized the Indian Air Force's commitment to developing world-class, self-reliant aviators through exceptional training, professionalism, and innovation. He praised the personnel for their commitment and highlighted the necessity of upholding superior standards to equip air warriors for future operational demands.
