Air Marshal S Shrinivas Evaluates Command Hospital Bengaluru: Emphasizes Medical Readiness and Modernization Efforts

On April 15, 2026, Air Marshal S Shrinivas, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Training Command, visited the Command Hospital Air Force in Bengaluru. Accompanying him was Mrs. Sunita Shrinivas, the President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional).

During their visit, a ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, followed by an in-depth briefing on the hospital's medical care, operational preparedness, teaching standards, and departmental efficiency.

Air Marshal Shrinivas engaged with both medical and support staff to understand the current healthcare initiatives and the functioning of the institution.

He expressed appreciation for the hospital staff's professionalism, comprehensive patient care, and administrative efficiency, which he noted are essential to maintaining operational readiness.

Highlighting the importance of modernisation, he underscored the necessity for integrated training and ongoing updates to meet the evolving operational demands of the Armed Forces.

He also assessed the progress of the Military Multi-Speciality Hospital Complex (MMHC) project, reaffirming the Training Command’s commitment to advancing medical capabilities and infrastructure.
