Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor Assesses AFS Jaipur Readiness, Honors IPS Officer for Operation Sindoor Support

Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Air Command, conducted a visit to Air Force Station Jaipur from December 12 to 13, 2025, focusing on evaluating the station's operational readiness.

Throughout his visit, Air Marshal Kapoor received briefings on crucial operational and administrative matters and examined the station's capacity to execute its assigned missions. He engaged with personnel, stressing the importance of maintaining high operational efficiency, readiness, and professionalism amid a changing security landscape.

During his time in Jaipur, Air Marshal Kapoor also met with the Governor of Rajasthan, reinforcing the Indian Air Force's strong relationship with civilian authorities and ongoing collaboration with state officials.

In a ceremony at Air Force Station Jaipur, Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor presented a commendation from the Chief of the Air Staff to Shri Biju George Joseph, IPS. This honor recognized Joseph's dedicated and proactive support during Operation Sindoor, highlighting the vital role of inter-agency cooperation in national security efforts.
