Air Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta Takes Charge as Commandant of National Defence College

Air Marshal Manish Kumar Gupta has taken over as the head of the esteemed National Defence College (NDC) in New Delhi as of today.

Having graduated from prominent institutions such as the National Defence Academy (NDA), Defence Services Staff College (DSSC), College of Air Warfare, and NDC itself, Air Marshal Gupta boasts an exemplary career in the Indian Air Force.

As an experienced fighter pilot with more than 3,100 flight hours to his credit, he holds the titles of Fighter Combat Leader and Qualified Flying Instructor. His career is marked by significant operational skills and teaching proficiency, with various crucial command and staff roles throughout his service.

In his new role as Commandant of NDC, Air Marshal Gupta will be responsible for leading the premier institution that is instrumental in developing senior officers from the Armed Forces, Civil Services, and allied foreign countries in matters of national security, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
