Air Marshal Dixit and Netherlands Defence Envoy Enhance Strategic Defence Collaboration
Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit, Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC), engaged in a friendly and meaningful dialogue with Rear Admiral Jeanette Morang, who serves as the Special Envoy of the Chief of Defence of the Netherlands. The meeting aimed at enhancing bilateral defence cooperation between the two nations.
Both parties reviewed the ongoing initiatives designed to broaden the India–Netherlands defence partnership and discussed potential new areas for collaboration.
The discussions zeroed in on cooperation in advanced niche defence technologies, the improvement of Professional Military Education (PME), and the strengthening of strategic outlooks to ensure a secure Indo-Pacific region.
The meeting underscored the increasing significance of defence cooperation between India and the Netherlands, with a focus on technological innovation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building.
Both leaders expressed their satisfaction with the advancements made in bilateral defence relations and reaffirmed their dedication to further deepening strategic connections and expanding collaborative efforts across various sectors.
This meeting reflects the mutual desire of both countries to enhance defence diplomacy, promote stability in the Indo-Pacific, and advance shared security goals through closer military cooperation.
