Air Marshal B Manikantan Reviews Operational Preparedness, Celebrates New Year with IAF Troops
As the New Year approached, Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, toured forward operational areas within the command's jurisdiction. The visit aimed to evaluate operational readiness and assess infrastructure projects designed to enhance troop welfare.
During his inspection, Air Marshal Manikantan received updates on the units' readiness and the progress of infrastructure improvements at the forward bases. He assessed the facilities constructed to improve living standards and boost operational efficiency for personnel stationed in challenging conditions.

While interacting with air warriors at these locations, Air Marshal Manikantan praised their steadfast dedication, professionalism, and high level of operational excellence. He acknowledged their commitment to maintaining mission readiness under difficult circumstances and expressed gratitude for their crucial role in national air defense.
The Air Marshal also took part in New Year celebrations with the troops, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and encouragement. Accompanying him was Dr. Nirmala T Manikantan, President of the Air Force Families Welfare Association (Central Region), who engaged with personnel, highlighting the significance of family support and morale in achieving operational goals.
