On May 31, 2026, Air Marshal B Manikantan concluded his nearly four-decade-long service as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, retiring after a career marked by dedication and significant contributions to the Indian Air Force and the nation.

On the eve of his retirement, a Commanders’ Conclave was held at the Headquarters Central Air Command.
