Air Marshal B Manikantan Assesses Operational Readiness at Lucknow Air Force Stations

Air Marshal B Manikantan, who holds the position of Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, made a recent visit to Air Force units located in Lucknow. His itinerary included stops at Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab and Air Force Station Memaura.

During the course of his visit, Air Marshal Manikantan conducted a thorough evaluation of the operational readiness, day-to-day operations, and the ongoing initiatives aimed at capability enhancement at both of these stations.

The Air Marshal engaged with air warriors during his visit, acknowledging their professionalism and dedication. He praised their steadfast commitment to maintaining high operational standards and fostering a positive work environment.

In addition, at Air Force Station Bakshi Ka Talab, Air Marshal Manikantan inaugurated a number of new welfare amenities. These facilities, including Single Officers’ Accommodation and a new Station Gymnasium, are designed to enhance the quality of life for the personnel stationed there.

He expressed admiration for the dedicated efforts of all personnel in fulfilling their responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. He also stressed the need for readiness, welfare, and capability development as crucial elements in achieving the mission objectives of the Indian Air Force.
