Air Marshal B Manikantan Assesses Kumaon Sector's Operational Readiness

Air Marshal B Manikantan, PVSM, AVSM, VM, who serves as the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, embarked on a two-day tour to the forward areas in the Kumaon Sector. The purpose of this visit was to evaluate the operational readiness along the high-altitude Himalayan frontier.

Throughout his visit, Air Marshal Manikantan examined the measures in place for preparedness, the infrastructure available, and the mechanisms for coordination necessary for ongoing operations in the difficult terrain and extreme weather conditions.
