Air Marshal B Manikantan Assesses Air Base Preparedness in Nagpur and Jabalpur
Air Marshal B Manikantan, the Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Central Air Command, conducted a visit to Air Force Station Sonegaon in Nagpur and Air Force Station Jabalpur to evaluate their operational preparedness and combat capabilities.
During his visit, the AOC-in-C assessed various aspects:
| Reviewed the operational readiness of air bases and combat units |
| Engaged with personnel to evaluate readiness levels |
| Stressed the importance of precision, synergy, and capability enhancement |

In addition, Air Marshal Manikantan received updates on Project Gajraj, which involves the development of a Greenfield Air Force Station at the Multi-Modal International Cargo Hub and Airport in MIHAN, Nagpur.
He also inaugurated a new indoor training facility for the Garud Special Forces, designed to improve training standards and boost operational capabilities.

Upon his arrival, a ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented, followed by comprehensive briefings and personnel interactions. The AOC-in-C expressed his admiration for the troops' high morale and professionalism.
Dr. (Mrs.) Nirmala T Manikantan, President of the Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional), also participated, engaging with the Sanginis to review welfare and health initiatives at the stations.

This visit highlights the Indian Air Force's dedication to modernization and infrastructure development while ensuring high levels of operational readiness.
